Classes run from $300 per participant/couple to $1,800 for a private workshop

You can, but it’s not necessary. The workshop covers one chapter each week for six weeks. You’ll spend the subsequent week practicing the skills learned in the previous lesson in your own home environment. The following week we will cover the next chapter, and you’ll incorporate those skills with the ones you studied from the prior week(s). The book must be purchased before the first session. It is available through Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

Seventy percent of my parents notice a significant change in themselves and their children after the first week’s session.

The workshop has six sessions, one for each chapter in the book. Sessions usually last 2-2 ½ hours, but if there is much discussion, they may run as long as 3 hours. Your commitment would be to attend all the sessions, as each builds on the one before. 

* During all sessions, children must be in the care of someone not participating in the workshop. We want to be sure your concentration won't be interrupted.  

You will learn how to engage your child's willing cooperation and how to:
· Deal with your child’s negative feelings – frustration, disappointment, and anger
· Express your anger without being hurtful
· Set firm limits and still maintain goodwill
· Use alternatives to punishment that promote self-discipline
· Encourage positive relationships between your children
· Resolve family conflicts peacefully

Not at all! Many grandparents are finding themselves in the role of caretakers these days. I’ve also received feedback that while practicing these skills, participants have noted a positive change in their spouses, co-workers, bosses, neighbors, friends, and adult children
